Expressing Gratitude

This year has been unexpected and tough with grieving and now raising my younger brothers while living my own life and raising my two dogs. Throughout this year I have been trying to practice more gratitude with everything that’s been going on this year. Seeing what my family has gone through during this loss I’m trying to appreciate everything we have. I have more than enough to be grateful for.

My goal is to write 3 things I’m grateful for everyday starting today, November 14, 2020 until the end of the year. I’ll have an updated post each month to track my progress. I think this will be a nice way to take my mind off things and feel accomplished by practicing more gratitude in my life.

Everyday I will be answering the following questions in my journal:

What are 3 things you are grateful for?

What are you working towards?

What is your one goal for the month?

How is your progress towards your monthly goal?

I think this is a great way to give myself “me time” and it’s been a good first month of progress. I can’t wait to look back after a couple months and a year of this journal to see what I’ve accomplished. I’ll be posting my new outline each month.

What do you need to start a Gratitude Journal?

  • A notebook or journal.
  • Any pen or pencil to write in your journal.
  • Create your daily questions and what you’d like to see in a month.

Thank you for reading, let me know if you have a gratitude journal?
